ART CONTEST 2002

CATEGORIES:
1) Black & White Anime Art
2) Color Anime Art
Within those categories, you
can go with any theme you want! Characters
can be a favorite or create one of your own!
RULES:
Art must be done by hand (not computer generated). Entries must be submitted
on a Blue Line Comic Cover Page (available for $1 at BOSCO'S) Must be
suitable for viewing by all ages. We want to judge it anonymously so don't
sign it yet! Put your name, address, birthday and phone number on the
back.
DEADLINE: Entries must be submitted to any BOSCO'S by closing on August
31. Judging will be done over the weekend with winners announced on September
8.
JUDGING CRITERIA: Credit will be given for adherence to Anime style,
creativity and technical ability.
PRIZES:
GRAND PRIZE for Best Overall in each age group: $100 cold cash!
First Place for each category in each age group: $75 Gift Certificate
Second Place for each category in each age group: $50 Gift Certificate
People's Choice for each category and age group: $50 Gift Certificate
(All entries will be posted for viewing at www.boscos.com. A People's
Choice contest will be run from the website with one vote per e-mail address
used.
TIPS:
1) If you want your art to
look sharp on the website for the People's Choice award, it must have
crisp lines. Take a look at art entered in previous years and you'll see
what worked and what didn't.
2) Put your name, address,
birthday and phone number on the back. If we don't have a birthday, we'll
assume you are in the adult category.
3) Make plans to pick up your
art by September 30. Art not picked up may be sold on eBay and we'll get
rich, not you!
