Anime Art Contest Rules

CATEGORIES:
1) Black & White Art
-----Age 15 and younger
-----Age 16 and older
2) Color Art
-----Age 15 and younger
-----Age 16 and older

Within those categories, you can go with any theme you want! You can create your own characters or recreate existing anime favorites. Please include a brief description (250 words or less) of the character portray. Who is the character? What is their origin? What is their story?

RULES:
Art must be done by hand (not computer generated).
Entries must be submitted on a Blue Line Comic Cover Page
Must be suitable for viewing by all ages.
Don't sign it! We want to judge it anonymously so put your name, address and phone number on the back.
We'll use your age as of August 31 as the cut-off. (Kids, don't let any adults mess with your art! You'll do a great job by yourself!)

DEADLINE:
Entries must be submitted to any BOSCO'S by closing on August 31. Winners will be announced by Sunday September 5.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
Credit will be given for adherence to Anime style, creativity and technical ability.

PRIZES:
GRAND PRIZE for Best Overall in each age group: $100 cold cash!
First Place for each category in each age group: $50 Gift Certificate
Second Place for each category in each age group: $25 Gift Certificate
People's Choice for each category and age group: $25 Gift Certificate (All entries will be posted for viewing at www.boscos.com. A People's Choice contest will be run from the website with one vote per e-mail address used. Entries will be posted and votes will be accepted through September 5.
