UPPER
DECK NATIONAL HOCKEY CARD DAY
Where:
BOSCO'S in Spenard
When: Saturday February 11
Cost: Free!
For
three years, hockey fans in the United States
have been shut out from Upper Deck’s National
Hockey Card Day where collectors can get free
packs from the best card shops.
This
year, Upper Deck is extending the trading card
holiday to America. As
part of Upper Deck’s Certified Diamond Dealers
network, BOSCO'S will have special packs available
for you!
The
set will highlight top Americans in the sport
and top international stars on American franchises.
A special Tim Thomas card celebrating a Stanley
Cup championship with the Boston Bruins will be
a 16th card given as a gift with purchase.
Upper
Deck likes to spice things up as well. The company
will sprinkle in a few autographs along the way.
NHL
PLAYER OF THE DAY
Where: both BOSCO'S
When: February
Your
chance to meet a NHL player!
How
to Play
BOSCO'S has all kinds of prizes including packs
of Panini NHL cards, t-shirts, an exclusive Panini
NHLPOD Card set, items from other NHLPA licensees,
plus an exclusive Panini NHLPOD autographed trading
card.
How
it Works:
Step
1 - Each day, we will place a sticker next to
a player on the Panini NHLPOD poster to mark them
as the "Player of the Day." In addition, Alex
Ovechkin and Tim Thomas are marked as Wild Cards
throughout the promotion.
Step
2 - You can enter by purchasing a pack of 2011-12
Panini NHL Cards including such popular brands
as; Score, Pinnacle, Prestige, Donruss, Elite,
Classic, Score, Certified, Absolute and many others.
Step
3 - To win, you must open the pack in front of
a store employee. If you "pull" the highlighted
Panini NHL Player of the Day or the Wild Card
you win a prize.
Step
4 - Four times during the promotion one randomly
chosen daily winner will receive an additional
prize as a weekly prize winner.
Step
5 - At the conclusion of the 30-day promotion,
one of the four weekly winners is randomly selected
as the grand prize winner and receives the autographed
card.
Step
6 - Each hobby shop grand prize winner is entered
into the national sweepstakes for their chance
to meet an NHL player and the local hobby shop
gets to host a free autograph session with that
player.
