Here's the winner of our ticket drawing at the Innistrad Prerelease.
He got 50 tickets for bringing four friends who had never played in our tournaments.

 

Here's Joe Bono a Level 2 judge from Seattle. We flew him up for the Innistrad Prerelease and the Grand Prix Trial (September 24-24, 2011 ) so he could train some people to be Level 1 judges. Anchorage had no Level 1 judges for the big tournaments. Joe did a great job working long hours to combine judging and training.

Drew and Dustin passed the test and qualified to become Level 1 judges. Others will work with Drew and Dustin and can test remotely with Joe. Hopefully Anchorage will have several Level 1 judges for the major tournaments.

This will be a Standard Constructed format tourney.

Bring your best deck, abiding by the banned/restricted list on the MTG website.

Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wants to use a sideboard, it must contain exactly fifteen cards. With the exception of basic land cards, a player’s combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic. The following card sets are permitted in Standard tournaments:
•Zendikar
•Worldwake
•Rise of the Eldrazi
•Magic 2011
•Scars of Mirrodin

There are currently no banned cards in Standard tournaments.

BOSCO'S CUP '10 # 4 SPECIAL BONUS!!
We got only six Japanese Jace Vs Chandra duel decks. These are two ready-to-play 60-card decks that showcase some of the best control and burn cards from throughout Magic's 15-year history. The decks include the Jace and Chandra Planeswalker cards with alternate Manga/Anime artwork.

These are way cool so lots of you probably want a deck but we only got 6. The suggested retail price is $19.99 but they are selling for big bucks most places.

So here's what we're going to do: at the BOSCO'S CUP 2010 #4, the top three in the tournament will get to buy a deck at $19.99. Then we will do a drawing to pick which other players get the remaining decks at that price. If you want in on this, you have to play in the tournament and you have to be there at the end when we hold the drawing.

Typical Prize pool distribution:

1st place receives 1/2 of prize pool, rounded(if necessary) to the nearest number of packs suitable to support half of remaining packs in prize pool to as many places as possible.

Thus if there were 18 packs in the prize pool, 1st place would get 9 packs, 2nd place would get 4 packs, 3rd place would get 2, fourth would get 2, and fifth would get 1. On top of that, all players would get a pack for playing, held aside from the prize pool.

BOSCO'S reserves the right to change formats but we'll try not to.
